Newton Moore SHS uses 'Connect', the Department of Education’s online communication tool. Connect is a public school secure internet based environment for staff, students and parents. It also gives our teachers a tool to deliver content to students electronically. For parents, Connect provides easy access to information relevant to your child’s classes, assessment results, teacher feedback , student attendance and published student reports.
Connect has its own app “Connect Now”. "Connect Now" streams notices relevant to the Connect groups/classes your child is involved in and provides easy access to student reports and assessment results. This is a great way to keep up to date with your child’s learning to progress. Logging in to the Connect website will enable users to access more detailed information. The App can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Newton Moore SHS uses Consent2Go to email invites for excursions and events at the school. Parents can provide permission and make payments online.
Our school's Facebook page allows our wider community to keep up to date with activities through a medium preferred by many. Our Facebook page is a place where we celebrate success, share good news and continue to build a strong school spirit. We use the page to accentuate the positives and bring to everyone's attention the little things that make our school community great.
My school space is the place within Connect where Newton Moore SHS can communicate with parents and/or guardians regarding school or community events.
Our school newsletter is issued regularly through the school terms via parent email addresses. The newsletter keeps our school community informed of upcoming events and key information.
We use an electronic calendar to communicate what is happening at our school. Parents can access the calendar through our newsletters, Connect (by accessing the links in School Space) or by clicking below.
